IVL
ntravenous leiomyomatosis (IVL) is a rare condition where benign smooth muscle tumors (leiomyomas) grow within the veins. These tumors can extend from the uterus into the pelvic veins and even reach the heart. IVL may cause symptoms like pelvic pain, abnormal menstrual bleeding, or cardiovascular issues if the tumor obstructs blood flow. Learn more.
