Barraquer-Simons Syndrome
Acquired Partial Lipodystrophy; APL
Barraquer-Simons syndrome is a rare form of acquired partial lipodystrophy characterized by symmetrical loss of adipose tissue from face, neck, upper extremities and the trunk with onset in early childhood. Explore causes, symptoms, and genetics of this rare disease.
