Oral Leukoplakia; Idiopathic White Patch; Leucoplakia; Leukoplasia
Leukoplakia is a condition in which thickened, white patches form on the tongue, gums, inside of the cheek, or sometimes on the outer female genitals. These patches are usually harmless, but in some cases, they can be precancerous or an early sign of oral cancer. Learn how it is treated and what the prognosis is.
