Ichthyosis Vulgaris
Ichthyosis simplex; Common ichthyosis; Scaly skin
Ichthyosis is a disorder that causes dry, thickened skin that may look similar to fish scales. Ichthyosis vulgaris is the most common type. It is usually mild and appears in the first year of life.
