Ovarian Remnant Syndrome
ORS; Residual Ovary Syndrome
Ovarian remnant syndrome (ORS) occurs when residual ovarian tissue remains after a woman has had surgery to remove one or both ovaries (oophorectomy). The most common symptom is pelvic pain.
