As a state-wide leader in neonatal services, each year the Women's cares for up to 2000 babies from across Victoria in its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The NICU at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee is the first Level IV NICU in Wisconsin with all private rooms. It’s also the largest, with 70 private rooms, one triplet room and three twin rooms, three family living rooms and three breast pump rooms in addition to the personal breast pump stations located in each room.

In addition to being beautiful and spacious and just so warm and welcoming, this NICU includes many high-tech features that will help our babies grow, develop and heal.

This state-of-the-art NICU is staffed with board-certified neonatologists, 24 hours a day, seven days a week for all high-risk deliveries and care in the NICU.
